Rare muts (Solar, Lunar, Galactic, Prismatic) come from breeding two dragons that already carry the target mut, or from Mutation Potions applied during breeding. The base chance is low, so plan on many Mutation Potions per pair rather than a lucky first try. Event-exclusive muts (like Winter or Halloween muts) only appear during their event window.

There's no single 'best' — it depends on the world and role. For combat: Solar/Lunar dragons with high Damage and Health. For speed: Air-element dragons with max Speed. For breeding value: clean-lineage Galactic or Prismatic dragons with multiple rare muts. The 'meta' shifts with each update and new world release.

Codes grant Coins, Hatch Potions, Growth Potions, Mutation Potions, Color Potions, and occasionally Event Currency or exclusive dragons. Mutation Potions are the most valuable for progression. Event codes (Winter, Halloween, Anniversary) often give limited dragons — redeem these immediately as they expire with the event.
