1. Who we are
RBXCodes (the “Site”) is an independent fan resource for Roblox codes and consolidated player guides across a quality-gated, manually reviewed 32-game collection. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Site collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. For questions about this policy, email rbxcodehub@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
The Site is read-only for most visitors and does not require an account. We collect the following categories of information:
- Usage data — pages viewed, referring URL, approximate geographic region (city or country derived from IP), device type, browser, and screen size. This is collected through standard server logs and through Google Analytics 4 (GA4) if enabled.
- Cookies and similar technologies — used to remember preferences, to measure traffic, and to serve advertising if advertising is enabled on the Site. The controls below explain when Google services are not loaded.
- Information you send us — if you email us at the address above, we receive the contents of your message and your email address through your email provider. The Site does not provide or store an on-site free-text feedback form.
- Structured code checks — if you press Works or Failed beside a code, the Site stores the code identifier and vote choice in aggregate. The browser stores a local marker to prevent repeat voting. The server temporarily processes an IP address for abuse rate limiting, but it is not written into the vote record.
- Push alerts are disabled — code-alert buttons are not shown, the public subscription endpoints refuse requests, and the delivery endpoint is disabled. The Site does not currently collect new push endpoints or encryption keys.
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, health information, government-issued identifiers, or precise geolocation.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its content;
- measure traffic, popular pages, and content performance;
- display advertising and measure ad performance, including frequency capping;
- respond to messages you send us;
- detect and prevent abuse, fraud, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.
4. Advertising and analytics partners
The Site may use the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:
- Google Analytics 4 for traffic measurement. GA4 stores a random identifier in a first-party cookie when it is allowed to load. We turn off Google advertising signals and ad personalization for GA4. The Site waits for Google Privacy & Messaging to resolve its analytics-storage status; denied or unresolved analytics consent keeps GA4 blocked. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, the Site does not load GA4 for that visit.
- Google AdSense for advertising, if enabled. Google and its advertising partners may process IP addresses and use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, limit repeated ads, prevent fraud, and produce reports. The Site requests non-personalized ads and applies a conservative in-page age-treatment signal. Google controls ad delivery under its own systems and policies; those in-page settings do not configure or guarantee the separate account/site audience classification. On legal, privacy, and utility pages, the AdSense tag may load so published Google privacy messages remain available, but advertising requests stay paused. If your browser sends GPC, the Site does not load AdSense. Learn how Google uses information from partner sites at Google’s partner-sites policy. Google ad controls are available at adssettings.google.com.
- Firebase / Google Cloud for hosting, content delivery, and error logging.
- YouTube API Services and reviewed videos for checking public video metadata such as title, channel, availability, license setting, duration, and U.S. playback restrictions. No YouTube player, thumbnail, or script loads when an RBXCodes page opens. A manually reviewed video stays a still placeholder until you press play; only then does YouTube's privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com) load, or, if you choose the external link, the video opens on YouTube. In either case YouTube may then process your IP address, device information, cookies, and account activity under the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. The Site does not ask you to connect a YouTube or Google account. When GA4 analytics is allowed, the Site may count that a reviewed card was in view, that you pressed play, and that its outbound link was selected. The event adds an internal video key, game page, placement, and experiment label to the same page-level analytics context—not the video title, playback activity, or your YouTube account.
- Bing Webmaster Tools and Google Search Console for indexing diagnostics. These do not receive personally identifiable information.
You can opt out of third-party cookie-based advertising through the self-regulatory programs at optout.aboutads.info (DAA) and networkadvertising.org/choices (NAI).
We treat an enabled browser-level GPC signal as an opt-out for this visit by blocking both GA4 and AdSense from loading. Browser extensions and private browsing modes that do not send GPC are not interpreted as a GPC request.
When Google Privacy & Messaging is available, you can review or change an earlier European consent choice here.
5. Children's privacy (COPPA)
Roblox players include people of different ages, and children may visit the Site. The Site does not ask visitors to state their age and does not use an age estimate to personalize content or ads. We do not intentionally ask children to provide a name, account password, email address, precise location, or other direct personal information. We use conservative advertising and analytics defaults. These controls do not replace a legal assessment under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or other age-related laws.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to the Site, email rbxcodehub@gmail.com and we will delete the information promptly.
Parents and guardians: if your child plays Roblox, please review Roblox’s own parental controls and privacy settings through Roblox Corporation directly.
6. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we have collected, the categories of sources, the categories of third parties to whom we disclose information, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate personal information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.
We do not sell personal information for money, and the Site requests non-personalized ads rather than intentionally using visitor information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To submit an access, correction, or deletion request, send a message titled “[PRIVACY] Request” to rbxcodehub@gmail.com. For browser-level advertising opt-outs, use a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which blocks Google advertising and analytics from loading on that visit as described above. Google and U.S. state-message account settings still require separate configuration outside this Site.
7. Other U.S. state rights
If you live in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of targeted advertising. Send requests to the email above.
8. Data retention
Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Aggregated analytics data may be retained longer under our Google account settings. Email correspondence is retained as long as needed to handle your request and to comply with legal obligations.
Push collection and delivery are currently disabled, so the Site does not create new push-subscription records. Structured Works/Failed totals may be retained to preserve aggregate code-quality history; the local vote marker remains until the visitor clears browser storage.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No internet transmission or electronic storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of the page.
