Our position
RBXCodesrespects the intellectual property rights of others. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 (the “DMCA”).
Before sending a notice, please confirm that the material you object to is actually hosted on RBXCodes. We do not host Roblox itself, game clients, game assets, or third-party trade marketplaces. If the material lives on another site, your notice belongs there.
Designated agent for notices
Submit DMCA notices to our designated agent:
Email: rbxcodehub@gmail.com
Subject line: [DMCA] Takedown Notice
What a valid takedown notice must contain
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following. Notices that are missing any element may be ignored.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, for multiple works, a representative list).
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it — ideally the full URL on RBXCodes.
- Your contact information: full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Misuse of notices
17 U.S.C. § 512(f) imposes liability on any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing. We may seek attorney fees and damages from senders of bad-faith notices.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same email above (subject line: [DMCA] Counter-Notice). A counter-notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which RBXCodes may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice.
Repeat infringers
We terminate access for users or contributors who are subject to repeated infringement complaints in appropriate circumstances.
