1. Send a toy code and a Promo Code to the right place
Use this before entering an Adopt Me code, especially when it came inside a physical toy.
- Identify where the code came from. The official FAQ says a Jazwares toy Virtual Item Code is for a Roblox avatar item; it is not an in-game Promo Code.
- For a Jazwares Virtual Item Code, follow the Roblox code-redemption link in the official FAQ. The Adopt Me kiosk will not accept that type of code.
- For a free Adopt Me Promo Code, use the Code Redemption Kiosk in the Trade License Hub.
- Check before moving on
- Confirm that your code type matches the redemption destination before submitting. For a toy code, look for the Roblox avatar-item result rather than expecting an Adopt Me pet reward.
- If it does not match
- If the code is rejected, return to its packaging or original announcement and identify the code type again. Changing destinations at random will not turn a toy code into a Promo Code.
2. Handle a closed Promo Code kiosk without buying a code
Use this if an online list gives you a Promo Code but the in-game kiosk will not let you enter it.
- Check that you are using the Code Redemption Kiosk in the Trade License Hub and that your string is a Promo Code, not a toy Virtual Item Code.
- If the kiosk is closed, pause. The official FAQ says the kiosk only accepts input when a Promo Code is active, and a code found while it is closed is likely expired.
- Check the original promotion or official FAQ for context. All Promo Codes are free and require no purchase, so do not pay someone to open the kiosk or sell you a Promo Code.
- Check before moving on
- The kiosk must accept input before you can try a Promo Code. A closed kiosk gives you no successful redemption result to report.
- If it does not match
- If no current promotion can be confirmed, leave the code attempt for another session. Use the report link in the official FAQ if someone is selling supposedly free Promo Codes.
3. Resolve a missing, damaged or already-used toy code
Use this for a Jazwares toy Virtual Item Code after checking that you are on Roblox's code-redemption website.
- If the code is readable, type it carefully and compare it with the token. A typo and an already-redeemed code need different follow-up.
- If a first-hand toy arrived with a missing code, opened packaging or a scratched and already-used code, contact the retailer. The official FAQ also directs code issues to Jazwares.
- For letters scratched away or a code that still fails after those checks, follow the Jazwares support link in the FAQ. Adopt Me support says it does not hold spare Virtual Item Codes.
- Check before moving on
- Keep the distinction between a typing error, damaged or missing token, and an already-used code clear when you contact support. Virtual Item Codes are single-use.
- If it does not match
- Do not buy a standalone replacement from a reseller. The FAQ warns that resold codes may already be used; Jazwares replacements require approval and are limited, so support contact is not a replacement guarantee.
